His command
We believe the entire body of Yeshua has been given the command to make disciples according to Matt 28:19-20 "Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age" CJB.
Reason for His command
We believe the entire body of Yeshua has been given the preceding command to bring others into the Father's Kingdom according to John 15:16. "You did not choose me, I chose you; and I have commissioned you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that whatever you ask from the Father in my name he may give you." CJB
Understanding His command
We believe the preceding command means the Church has the specific responsibility of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom to those outside the Kingdom according to Matt 24:14. "And this Good News about the Kingdom will be announced throughout the whole world as a witness to all the Goyim. It is then that the end will come." CJB
Fulfilling His command
We believe the body of Yeshua is to discriminately perform the preceding command by indiscriminately preaching the Gospel according to Luke 14:21-23. "The slave came and reported these things to his master. "Then the owner of the house, in a rage, told his slave, 'Quick, go out into the streets and alleys of the city; and bring in the poor, the disfigured, the blind and the crippled!' The slave said, 'Sir, what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.' The master said to the slave, 'Go out to the country roads and boundary walls, and insistently persuade people to come in, so that my house will be full." CJB
Reproducing His command
We believe the leadership of the body of Yeshua has been discharged with the responsibility of fulfilling His command primarily, by producing capable teachers according to 2 Tim 2:1-2. "So then, you, my son, be empowered by the grace that comes from the Messiah Yeshua. And the things you heard from me, which were supported by many witnesses, these things commit to faithful people, such as will be competent to teach others also." CJB
Preparing for His return
We believe the leadership of the body of Yeshua has been discharged with the responsibility of fulfilling His command secondarily, by preparing capable Kingdom members according to 2 Tim 4:7-8. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. All that awaits me now is the crown of righteousness which the Lord, "the Righteous Judge," will award to me on that Day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for him to appear."
