Stop confusing punishment with consequences and stop telling people you are under demonic attack. Most of what happens to us has nothing to do with God or the devil.
God is not always punishing anyone, as He doesn’t punish for first time infractions (unless it is for outright rebellion). Satan is not always attacking either (contrary to what some of our hyper spiritual brethren like to portray), as he is not omnipresent. If Satan left Jesus alone for specific seasons (Luke 4:13), then he does the same thing with those connected to Jesus (for He gives His beloved rest).
What happens to us is best summarized in Gal 6:7. We feel like we are being punished because we are reaping the negative consequences of seed (i.e. actions) WE have sowed. So, if I want to stop reaping negative consequences and feeling like I am being punished. I need to sow good seed. Peace
A hidden power of the golden rule is in your witness and the power of your witness is not in your knowledge, your spiritual gifts, or material things such as your income. The power is in your love. People have respect for you and your God when you love those that don’t deserve your love. When you forgive those that don’t deserve your forgiveness. When you help those that don’t deserve your help and when associate with those that are unlike you.
Luke 6:31-34 “Treat other people as you would like them to treat you. 32 What credit is it to you if you love only those who love you? Why, even sinners love those who love them. 33 What credit is it to you if you do good only to those who do good to you? Even sinners do that.” CJB
