Food for Thought

May 9, 2019 By Jeff Leave a Comment

Passive aggressive behavior is inconsistent with the Kingdom lifestyle. When a problem causes you to have strong negative feelings towards another individual. Scripture commands you to go to the source of the problem and speak with them FIRST. Regardless to what others say, that’s the way Jesus said to do it.
Do not give the objects of your anger the silent treatment or indirectly express your dissatisfaction with them via sarcasm, disguised insults, making excuses and not giving straight answers.
When you have a problem with someone, biblical protocol says to address the problem with them first, with the intent of achieving resolution. While a time may come in the future when you may need the help of others to resolve a problem; that time is never first. So stop punishing people with passive aggressive behavior children of God. It’s never a good witness, nor does it achieve the Father’s purposes.
