Why Study Scripture?

1 | To recognize false doctrine (2 Tim 3:16-17) - There’s so much false doctrine being taught today because of Biblical illiteracy. How are we to rebuke and correct if we don’t even know what Yahweh says? 

2 | To prepare for the future - We study Bible prophecy for our own knowledge and to also share with others. Yeshua spoke about end time events while he was on earth and the warnings He gave should not be taken lightly or ignored. Prophecy is what sets the Christian faith apart from all other religious systems.

3 | Learn Basic rules for living - Scripture is filled with wisdom, knowledge and practical advice that can be applied to life today.

4 | To Conform to the image of Yeshua (Romans 8:29) - It’s the Father’s will His children be conformed to the image of His Son. How are we to become like Yeshua if we don’t read His word?

5 | Renew Our Mind - The more we are in the world and not in the Father’s word, the more we will become like the world. Take time to study Scripture everyday so your mind can be renewed and transformed with truth.
